One child, one profile, less administration

A phone number, an allergy, or a consent form should not be typed into three systems. A one child record means the office updates the detail once, and meals, clubs, and trips use that same version.

  • What still stays in the school MIS

When pupil details live in different places

Contact details, dietary requirements, permissions, collection arrangements, and payments all depend on accurate pupil information. A parent updates a phone number. A new allergy is recorded. A consent form comes in.

In many schools each of those changes is typed into more than one system. The copies drift, and staff spend time checking which version is current.

If a pupil detail has to change in more than one place, the office is maintaining copies.

Why one child record matters day to day

Out-of-date details rarely cause one dramatic failure. They cause small, repeated jobs: parents asked for the same information twice, and the office reconciling two versions of a contact.

When staff can trust one child record, those jobs shrink. Parents spend less time on duplicate forms. The office spends less time correcting mismatches.

Dietary requirements, consent, and contacts

The right people need the right detail. That is not the same as giving everyone every field. Dietary requirements, photo consent, a short medication note, and collection permissions should be available where school meals, clubs, and trips use them.

Pupil and parent details can still sync from the school MIS. iAntz does not replace that register. It is where the day-to-day record is used.

One update instead of a stack of copies

A simple test: how many places must change when a parent updates a phone number or an allergy? If the answer is more than one, there is a simpler process available.

Keeping a single up-to-date record also makes it easier to know what the school holds and to correct it when a parent asks. The privacy notice sets out how personal data is handled.

See the child profile in practice

Look at how dietary requirements, consent, and collection sit on one child record for meals, clubs, and trips.

No commitment. No hard sell. Just a conversation about what's possible.
